Artis Procurement, Purchasing & Supply Chain is exclusively recruiting for a market leading e-commerce-led omnichannel retailer that has major growth plans in the UK and Europe.

The organisation is looking to recruit a Buyer with strong FMCG buying experienceand who can demonstrate continuously understanding what customer want when deciding what products to sell and where.

The Buyer will have full vendor management responsibility for the current suppliers, as well as identifying and developing new suppliers.

Working on the buying strategy, liaising very closely with the Senior Merchandiser, Category Manager and Head of Buying,you will negotiate preferential trading terms, ensuring that budgeted sales, gross margin, stock turn and profit targets are achieved, and relationship management (supplier, internal etc) is maintained.

As a Buyer you will have full range management accountability, ensuring there is a rationalised product assortment across brands and vendors are manged accordingly.

Working closely with Merchandising, you will stock is managed and turned efficiently.
