360 Recruitment are a specialist Insurance recruiter, currently recruiting for a IT Infrastructure Engineer for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding insurance provider.


Role:

IT Infrastructure Engineer


Salary:

Up to £40,000

Location:

Hybrid Role
The ability to work from home
& travel to various sites across the North West (Expenses Paid)
A full clean driving licence and transportation is essential requirement


Type:

Permanent - Full-time
35 Hour - Working Week


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all service and support requests are routed through the correct channels.
  • Delivery of assigned tasks and escalations from the 3rd party IT Helpdesk supplier.
  • Ensure all migration, relocation and integration activity is performed to a high standard, maintaining proactive engagement and communication with all key stakeholders.
  • Work independently and within the team to ensure all tasks are delivered to a high degree of accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Support the effective delivery, high performance and high availability of the Group systems and services.
  • Ensure correct monitoring and reporting is in place for all relevant services.
  • Develop effective relationships with all relevant 3rd party IT suppliers and systems.

Experience:


  • Demonstrable experience within a busy IT support environment.
  • Experienced in Incident Management
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware systems.
  • Microsoft technologies (O365, Server, Windows)
  • VOIP Telephony
  • SSL
  • Printers / MFD's
  • Familiarity with general OS systems and Office Software.
  • Knowledge of LAN and wireless networks, TCP/IP
  • Migrations/relocations, including all technical services.

Desirable(Not Essential):


  • IT Information Security + tooling
  • Multisite small to medium enterprise experience users).
  • File storage migrations.
  • Cloud Management (Azure or AWS).
  • SaaS management.
  • Okta
  • External supplier management, including contract management.
  • Network & Telephony Management.
  • Professional Certifications
