    Information about the role:The current vacancy takes the lead on testing and exercising, but will provide support to the plans, debrief and organisational learning work streams when required.


In the role, you will coordinate and deliver a programme of bespoke exercises to address local, regional and national issues, which is tied in to CT response plans.

You will analyse, direct and agree the identification of CT exercise objectives with local forces, regional representatives, national bodies and external agencies to ensure they support the national CP exercise priorities.


You will promote and share across the SE region a calendar of planned exercises, maintaining appropriate working relationships and ensuring the exercise fits in with the national risk assessment priorities, by engaging with police forces, other emergency services and wider partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Experience of planning work over varying time periods in a dynamic environment, with ability to make decisions with a methodical, problem solving approach.
  • Skilled communicator, with ability to adapt communication styles to a variety of audiences. This includes written and verbal presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Suite of products (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to learn new systems
  • An effective team player also able to work well with a minimum of supervision.
