We are seeking a dedicated and organised HR/Administrative Support to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, interviews, and appointments.
  • Prepare and distribute HRrelated documents such as offer letters, contracts, and policies.
  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Assist in onboarding processes for new employees, including paperwork completion and orientation sessions.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • Support in organising training sessions and workshops on HRrelated topics.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HRrelated inquiries and issues.
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and support.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including enrolment, changes, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with benefit providers and resolve any issues related to employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR support role is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Job Type and Place of Work

  • Fulltime (40 hours a week).
  • Nineday fortnight.
  • Workington, Cumbria.
