Position:
Automotive Estimator/VDA

Location:
Burton On Trent, Staffordshire

Salary:
£30,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 am to 17:30 pm (No Saturdays)

Our client has been thriving since 1991, thanks to their people who are the backbone of their success. They represent 12 different brands, with 47 franchise points and 23 locations, employing over 1300 Team Members. They are now looking for a skilled Automotive Estimator/VDA to join their team.

Proven experience as an Automotive Estimator with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and thrives in a busy Bodyshop environment.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Estimating repair requirements, including time, materials, and parts required for repairs, and clearly explaining the work required to customers, insurance, and other assessors in a professional and courteous manner.
Utilizing modern estimating methods and working in line with approved times set by Thatcham and/or other authorized repair times.
Assisting in evaluating and justifying bodywork warranty claims and providing comprehensive explanations thereof.
Allocating jobs fairly and correctly to Panel Beaters, Painters, and other staff.
Delivering an excellent customer experience by ensuring a high level of finish and repair quality.

Requirements:

Minimum of two years experience in an accident repair setting.
Experience in using Audatex and understanding Thatchem E Scribe.
Good time management and methodical approach to workload.
A positive cando attitude and a team player mentality.
Ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in using Autoflow Management Systems and Kerridge (advantageous).
