Kitchen Assistant

Term Time Only (36 weeks) (Ref 031/2223)

Great sociable working hours Monday-Friday (25 hours pw)

Average customer numbers for AM service 250, 360 for lunch.

Salary:
£11,498. (FTE £17,017.74)

This role is based in a College, and would work for school arrangements. The hours are Mon - Friday term time only.

This is a permanent position opportunity.

As a Kitchen Porter you will have:

Good working knowledge of kitchen practices
Experience of washing dishes and cleaning in a commercial kitchen
Ability to work well with your hands and physical skills like movement, coordination and dexterity

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As Kitchen Porter you will:

Manage deliveries and stores
Wash up dishes, and cleaning kitchen appliances, work surfaces and walls
Prepare work surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are adhered to
Ensure pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use quickly during service
