Kitchen Assistant

Term Time Only (36 weeks) (Ref 031/2223)

Great sociable working hours Monday-Friday (25 hours pw)

Average customer numbers for AM service 250, 360 for lunch.

Salary:
£11,498. (FTE £17,017.74)

This role is based in a College, and would work for school arrangements. The hours are Mon - Friday term time only.

This is a permanent position opportunity.


As a Kitchen Porter you will have:

  • Good working knowledge of kitchen practices
  • Experience of washing dishes and cleaning in a commercial kitchen
  • Ability to work well with your hands and physical skills like movement, coordination and dexterity

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As Kitchen Porter you will:


  • Manage deliveries and stores
  • Wash up dishes, and cleaning kitchen appliances, work surfaces and walls
  • Prepare work surfaces to ensure hygiene standards are adhered to
  • Ensure pots, pans plates and cutlery back into use quickly during service
