Description

London Based Asset Manager seek a Level 2 Application Support Engineer, supporting business users.

Good SQL scripting skills with MS SQL Server or Oracle - ie Writing SQL scripts to resolve user queries, testing and scheduling weeknight or weekend releaseson Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 or above, UNIX or Linux.

Ideally experience with.
Net and some process automation / scripting

Unix, RegEx, PowerShell.

Working on multiple application experience in or support of Trading, Portfolio management, Risk, Settlements,Reconciliation applications focus on self-service application. I.e.

ServiceNow, Zendesk, Atlassian Confluence & Jira, Nagios, Splunk, ELK stack, Grafana, BitBucket, Git, Octopus, IBM MQ, MSMQ, Kafka, Automate Enterprise (Help Systems), Salerio (COR Financials),FundManager (Linedata), SWIFT Message Types and Bloomberg Terminal and Data feeds.

Incident and Problem management, including input to post-incident reviews and resolution of follow up tasks. Production Support with in-depth experience of 1st & 2nd line Applicationsupport for multiple applications.

This is a unique opportunity to gain challenging and interesting experience in a role that covers a wide range of asset classes traded by specialist investment engines atworking closely with Business users across Front,Middle & Back office business teams.
