Description

We are looking to speak to an ambitious and technical Finance Assistant to join our client based in Torbay.

You will become an integral member of the finance team, and be responsible for providing key operational finance support to the wider organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an AAT qualified, or part-qualified Accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This opportunity will utilise your transactional experience, whilst gaining experience with the more technical aspectsof accounting and getting involved with the preparation and production of the management accounts.

You will be tasked with providing in-depth operational financial support to senior management across the various business departments.

You will also be required to undertake the following:

Preparation of management accounts and all associated tasks.
Transactional processing.
Budgeting.
Cashflow forecasting and management.
Providing administrative support for the wider team.

Our client is looking for the following:

AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA.
Previous experience of working in a similar finance position within a busy and diverse business.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
