Our client based in Blackburn are looking for experience and pro active machine operators from a steel environment.

Working Days, Monday to Friday you will form part of a friendly and dynamic team that work together to provide excellent quality of materials to their customers.

THE ROLE:

Operate machine in accordance with manufacturers operating procedures
Operator to maintain machine using daily and weekly checks and sign off against check sheets
To do basic levels of inspection such as first offs and intermediate checks
Be able to read drawings and use measuring equipment such as tape measure, steel rulers and vernier
Ensure all Health & Safety standards are maintained to company policy
Use crane & forklift trucks where required (must have a licence)
Work to company quality policies
Be able to follow instructions from customer via nest plans
Ensure raw materials are of a high standard in accordance with company policies and customer requirements
Unloading and loading of machine
Maintain traceability on material and cut parts

In return, our client is paying £ £12.73 per hour (DOE) with plenty of overtime available.
