Our client based in Blackburn are looking for experience and pro active machine operators from a steel environment.


Working Days, Monday to Friday you will form part of a friendly and dynamic team that work together to provide excellent quality of materials to their customers.


THE ROLE:

  • Operate machine in accordance with manufacturers operating procedures
  • Operator to maintain machine using daily and weekly checks and sign off against check sheets
  • To do basic levels of inspection such as first offs and intermediate checks
  • Be able to read drawings and use measuring equipment such as tape measure, steel rulers and vernier
  • Ensure all Health & Safety standards are maintained to company policy
  • Use crane & forklift trucks where required (must have a licence)
  • Work to company quality policies
  • Be able to follow instructions from customer via nest plans
  • Ensure raw materials are of a high standard in accordance with company policies and customer requirements
  • Unloading and loading of machine
  • Maintain traceability on material and cut parts

In return, our client is paying £ £12.73 per hour (DOE) with plenty of overtime available.
