    Job introduction:Craven Vale provides care & accommodation to people with enduring functional mental health needs.
We are looking to appoint a permanent, part-time Duty Officer (7 hours per week) to cover lates. Basic hourly rate is £ £15.26, plus enhancements for evening and weekend and Bank Holiday working.

About the role:


The role of the Duty Officer includes being responsible for the safe & effective running of the service day to day ensuring the safe deployment of staff & resources.

The successful applicant needs to be reactive and proactive often dealing with several different tasks at the same time.

You will often be the first point of contact for service users, staff, family and other professional so need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with experience of working in care settings and the ability to lead & motivate teams to provide excellent care which offers choice, independent, respect & dignity to those using our services.


The Duty Officer works a rota that includes evenings and weekends and bank holidays (enhancements payable) so flexibility is required.


Additional information:

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
