What Will You Be Doing?


As a Scrum Master in our change team you'll take up a vital role supporting & coaching our teams to help them deliver value at pace.

As a Scrum Master in our change team you will be:

  • Coaching our teams in the best use of Scrum and sharing appropriate supporting tools and techniques.
  • Championing business agility and helping teams optimise how they work.
  • Facilitating agile events such as the daily scrum and backlog refinement.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and leading team retrospectives.
  • Fostering a fail-fast culture of innovation and professionalism within your delivery team.
  • Ensuring adherence to agreed principles, guardrails, and governance.
  • Fostering excellent relationships with team members, relevant partners, suppliers, and internal / external stakeholders.
  • Playing an active role in our Communities of Practice to pass on knowledge and build expertise.
What Do We Need From You?

You will work collaboratively, supporting the growth and development of colleagues, demonstrating high emotional intelligence, and strong coaching skills. You will be a problem-solver with an inquisitive mind and an appetite to continuously develop and learn. You'll enjoy working with people, be able to inspire and motivate, and will be self-driven and self-organising.

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Confident and knowledgeable in the Scrum framework, with an ability to flex your approach to suit the situation.
  • Able to understand and remove impediments to the flow of work in the team.
  • Able to thrive in self-organising teams and align to value delivery.
  • Able to collaborate, influence and motivate a wide variety of colleagues
  • Driven to continually learn, reflect, and adapt to optimise ways of working.
  • A logical and systems thinker who is focused on customer outcomes.
  • Proven ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence others to drive results across the organisation.
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of scaled agile and cross team coordination would be desirable.
  • It would be advantageous if you hold certification in professional scrum.
  • It would be advantageous to have knowledge of / experience in Financial Services
