G&P Healthcare are a specilaist home care company run and owed by nurses gaining Outstanding in CQC.

We are looking for a brand new team to all start together to support a young 19 year old girl in the Heaton Area of Newcastle with complex epilepsy and a Learning disability.

All training willl be given but a knowledge of epilespy and /or Learning disabilities would be advantageous but not essential.

Females only due to her vulnerabilities - she cannot accept male carers_

The client attends a day centre 3 days a week and staff will support her in the centre but encourage her interactions with her friends.

SHIFTS

CARE IS ALWAYS 2 to 1

we have 12 hour days and 12 hour waking nights and sleeping nights available - hours at 9am to 9pm for days and 9pm to 9am for nights (we would expects staff to d a mixure of waking and sleeping nights for night shift)

ESSENTIAL

Must have a min of 6 months recent paid care experience in the UK
Must be a car driver
Be willing to learn new skills to support complex conditions
Be patient and empathetic and an excdellent communicator.

- be able to follow care plans and risk assessments

For the right people, we offer 24/7 support, training from nurses, monthly pay, free mandatory training and a very supportive company to work for.

we do not offer sponsorships and the hours are not suitable for those on a student visa.
