Description

The Customer Platforms team is responsible for a portfolio of IT software that enables successful business partnerships with national and regional repair centres in both light and commercial vehicle sectors.

Working closely with internal development, 3rdparties and a wider Digital department, Customer Platforms deliver service and continuous improvement on behalf of the Sales Team to ensure continued growth in the UK Key Accounts Program.


The Customer Platforms team is recruiting a new a new
Business Analyst to coordinate a range of activities across multiple projects contributing to the delivery of the Key Accounts Program.

This role has become available due to an internalpromotion within the existing team.


The
Customer Platforms Business Analyst will work within an Agile team supported by other departmental Business Analysts, a Product Owner and IT Analysts Professionals who are responsible for the development and upkeep of AAGs Customer Platforms.

This role sits within IT but facilitates work from many areas such as Marketing, Product and Sales.


You will be responsible for activities on projects and programmes of all sizes, overseeing requirements gathering, analysis and the documentation of interactions from a wide range of stakeholders.

You will need to feel comfortable managing 3rd parties andhave experience of managing stakeholder expectations, by adapting updates or communications based on your target audience.


This role would be suitable for someone with a few years of experience who is looking for the next step in their career where they can ultimately own and manage their own projects.


Hybrid working is available for this role, but you need to be able to travel on-site to the office or to a customer site when required to become familiar with existing processes or to aid project developments.

The days are flexible and to be discussed duringthe interview stage. The
Customer Platforms Business Analystreports directly the
Customer Platforms Digital Product Manager.


Duties include:


  • Act as a facilitator between the business, our internal IT development team, external development partners, and customers.
  • Analyse project requirements to identify functional and nonfunctional system requirements; take a business problem and offer up solutions.
  • Capture and document requirements through interviews with key stakeholders (internal/external) and manage the progress of these through to completion.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Professional Experience/Skills required:


  • Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills.
  • Create project diagrams, including Business Process Models, Wireframes, User Stories, process flows and other support literature.
  • Keep everyone fully engaged with the project progress. Build relationships along the way.
  • A good understanding of the role of a Business Analyst and a passion for continuous improvement and delivering effective, efficient solutions.
  • An understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data structures such as XML, JSON, soap/rest, and languages such as SQL.
  • Committed to continuously improve and progress in your role.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities as per the needs of the business
  • Experience with tools such as MS Project, Visio, Lucid Charts. (desirable)
