Broster Buchanan are currently recruiting for a payroller to be based in Peterborough, 2 days in the office, 3 from home.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure accurate and timely reports are provided

  • Requires the ability to interpret the reports and accurately reconcile them to the payroll data.
  • Responsible for answering queries raised by the pension schemes and the HR department.
  • Support the Payroll Team with inputting static and transactional data from time to time as required.
  • This role works within a small team all of which all are expected to strive to improve the working practices and continue to improve the customer service.
  • Accurate pension reports are submitted to all schemes within the scheme deadlines.
  • Processes are efficient.
  • Queries raised by the pension schemes are answered within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Payroll input is completed within the deadlines that are set.
  • Good working relationships with team members and pension providers are always maintained.

Person Specification

  • Experience of pension administration
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential to ensure the information reported is correct and on time.
  • The ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.
  • An inquisitive mind, with the initiative to strive to improve working practices and customer service.
  • Good ICT skills, experience of Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • A strong team player able to work with others.
**Salary - £22,000 - £25,000
