Description

We require an experienced administrative coordinator to join our service, leading our teams, ensuring provision of efficient and effective administrative and clerical support to Wards and Departments within the Emergency Care Directorate.

This involves review and coordination of workload and responsibilities on a daily basis, ensuring a robust professional service is maintained throughout.


You will be the first point of contact for the teams, and will work closely with the Admin & Secretarial Service Team Leaders and Manager.

Duties also include accurate recording of all forms of leave, meeting with staff regularly, reviewing training requirements and involvement with the recruitment and selection process within the Service.

You should have a strong administrative and clerical background, with relevant staff management / supervisory experience. You should possess excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills. You should be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams. Knowledge of NHS systems and processes would be an advantage.


You are required to be a flexible individual, with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required.
