Salary:£26-33k DOE

About the role
The Secretary Administrator role requires:
- Supporting the team with daytoday administrative tasks as necessary
- Overseeing the management of the building and liaising with the property managers
- Working with the Membership Administrator to help with managing memberships and renewals, subsequently keeping members updated on branch matters and events
- Attend and take an active part in Committee of Management meetings and social committees as required
- Any other reasonable duties as required, including attending training. There will be an initial 34 days training in Manchester, followed by occasional additional training e.g. weekend and day seminars.
Key tasks and responsibilities
In the role of Secretary Administrator, you will:
- Be responsible for the secretarial administration of the branch
- Maintain the financial records of the branch using
Microsoft Dynamics 365,including processing receipts and payments in line with company policy - Maintain PAYE records for branch employees, calculating payments for an external payroll company
- Prepare any financial statements for the committee meetings, taking place monthly, and also completing all yearend documentation in preparation for the Annual General Meetings
- Act as a professional administrator and secretary, taking care of members by working closely with the Social Events Manager and Membership Administrator
- Assist with events and socials for members
About you
To be successful for the role of Secretary Administrator, you will have/be:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Have established bookkeeping experience, ideally with
Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage, or Xero, to manage the financial administration of the branch - Enjoy meeting new people
- Able to deal with money
- A proven ability to work to deadlines without supervision
- Strong organisational skills
- Some customer care knowledge
- Resourceful and able to overcome challenges
- Willing to work with a range of people with different backgrounds and social circumstances.
- Able to work independently, as there may be times you are in the office alone
