Events Marketing Manager - B2B Exhibitions & Events

Based in Coventry + UK & International travel

Salary up to £40K + 10% Bonus

An exciting new position for an experienced Exhibitions & Events Marketer to join an events company that brings together industry leading buyers and sellers onsite at their large-scale b2b events as an Events Marketing Manager for a new launch event.

As the Marketing Manager you will have the opportunity to create innovative multi-channel marketing campaigns that attract big audiences to attend their events, you will also work alongside the sales team to support their efforts to achieve the event salesrevenues.

This opportunity is a great next step for an experience b2b events marketer seeking additional responsibility, the space to be more strategic and an eagerness to join a fast-growing exhibitions company that encourages new ideas and creativity within theirmarketing campaigns.

The marketing manager reports to the MD and the position is based full-time in the Coventry office and offers the opportunity for international travel.

What will you be doing?

Create and manage a multichannel event marketing campaign for a new UK launch exhibition
Liaise with existing event partners and develop new ones
Build specific target audiences and help develop new target areas
Manage and work within the agreed marketing budget
Analyse and monitor responses from the marketing campaigns and advise where to invest for future campaigns
Work collaboratively with internal teams and support where needed
Collaborate with external agencies when required
Create special exhibition feature areas to complement exhibitors and visitors
Support with the organisation of speaker opportunities when required
Keep up to date with the exhibitors to understand their products and business needs
Support the development of junior colleagues within the team
Travel to competitor exhibitions when required
Develop a portfolio of trade partners

About you

For this role, we are looking to speak with an experienced events marketing professional that can deliver on the responsibilities above.

You need solid industry experience working for an event & exhibitions company that produces and owns its own events.
Experience in creating and delivering marketing campaigns for large-scale events, exhibitions or trade shows is essential.

These events attract up to 4500 attendees and over 250 exhibitors. Their portfolio includes exhibitions for the automotive,biomedical, beauty and food & beverages industries.
