Emergency Planning Support Officer - Oldham, United Kingdom - Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
Description
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of service continuity plans for the Organisation, including the four hospital sites and community services of the Care Organisations ensuring that they meet the requirements of NHS England core standards.
The post holder will undertake those duties allocated in relation to emergency preparedness and service continuity as are delegated by the Head of EPRR including responding to emergencies and service disruptions.
To support the delivery of the Trust's Incident Response, CBRN, emergency preparedness, business continuity and resilience planning functions and support the continued development of resilience across the Trust.
Supports the Head of EPRR and Emergency Preparedness Officers by assisting to put in place fully effective arrangements which will provide the appropriate operational response for major / protracted / critical / incidents, as they occur and develop, and maintains service continuity plans across the Group.
Working collaboratively within the EPRR Team support the Group to achieve and maintain high levels of emergency preparedness in order to effectively respond to any internal and external major incidents.
Working collaboratively within the EPRR Team to maintain and test Continuity Plans in association with the Care Organisations, ensuring that the Group meets NHS England core standards in EPRR.
Working collaboratively within the EPRR Team, supporting the Group and the Care Organisation Resilience Fora including any EPRR task and finish groups as directed by the Head of EPPRU.
Support staff training in EPRR policies and procedures
Support the delivery of Exercise programmes and prepare feedback reports as required
Ensure the Incident Coordination Centre is maintained and operationally ready to respond to incidents
Support in gathering evidence in support of external audits and the NHS England EPRR core standards
