About The Role:
Hybrid -
approx.
2 days per week onsite in Bourn, Cambridge, open to part time hours
Our busy finance team at Cambridge Design Partnership are looking for a Credit Controller to join our team on a temporary basis for 6 months.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Credit Control process
- Updating and defining the process
- Producing and keeping up to date the documentation that outlines this
- Due diligence and know your customer checks before the customer is onboarded.
- Credit checks and linking in with the sales admin team and Sales Sector leaders to provide them with information.
- Escalating any risks within the team and to appropriate peopl
- Responsible for reporting periodically on the Aged Debtor balances
- Responsible for chasing outstanding debt from clients alongside the client managers.
- Resolving customer queries and discrepancies on invoices as and when they arise
- Updating information on the credit control reporting
- Investigating any anomalies on customer accounts
- Producing KPIs on the debtors' balances, DSO and overdue debt and managing these
- Client account reconciliations
- Supporting team
- Any other work to support the team as and when it is needed
- Streamlining our Carbon Energy reporting
About You:
A can-do attitude and ability to be a great all-rounder is essential for this position.
You will need to demonstrate great communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of global stakeholders, both internally and externally, and deliver your message in a clear and constructive manner.
The ability to collaborate effectively with others, act with integrity, prioritise well and work as part of a team is key to this role.
- Background in conducting credit control duties in a B2B environment.
- Ability to communicate with clients effectively and resolve any issues.
- Experience of working with systems such as Quickbooks Online, SAP, Excel and PowerBI would be a plus.
- Able to show business and commercial intelligence when working with clients.
