The postholder will be joining our transport team based at Trust Headquarters in Ashton-under-Lyne.

The team provide all aspects of transport management within the Trust, including fleet vehicle management, medical records courier management, car park management and taxi management.


The postholder will be predominantly responsible for our car park management, which includes managing a helpdesk inbox and visiting and monitoring the car park(s) which we manage - there is currently only one at Oldham but we may expand across different localities.

The team will support the postholder as required.


The postholder will also be trained to support with the different elements of the transport services in order to support during periods of absence/sickness.

In this role, the postholder will need excellent admin and customer service skills, as well as a being capable of having a proactive approach to monitoring our car parks and other transport services.

The transport team are passionate about delivering quality services and supporting our staff and service users.


The main duties include:

To monitor car parking usage through regular on-site checks to identify any misuse, issues, low/over usage etc. to improve the services.

To identify car park demands to ensure spaces are fully utilised.

To be the first point of contact with car park owners / landlords.

To handle all internal PCFT-managed car parking issues, queries and complaints from staff by providing a dedicated helpdesk service.


The postholder will be joining the facilities team which is within the Capital Investment and Estates Services department at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust.
