Description
The successful post holder may also be required to perform the Data Protection Officer function as required.


Delivery of a proactive Information Governance service to the ICB, General Practice, Primary Care Networks and supporting digital transformation within the ICB, Primary Care and with wider Integrated Care System.

The postholder also represents the ICB in the system wide Derby & Derbyshire Information Governance Working group.


The Information Governance work within the Digital Development function of the ICB, but with strong links into Corporate Governance for the statutory functions of the ICB.


NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the health statutory body for the Derby City and Derbyshire population.

ICSs are partnerships of health and care organisations that come together to plan and deliver joined-up services and to improve the health of people who live and work in their area.

Serving a total population of 1,053,000 with a budget of over £1.6 billion the ICB has a staff base of approximately 500 people.

The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service;
The role will support the ICB in discharging it's Information Governance responsibilities;
The role will support all member GP Practices and Primary Care Networks with their information governance responsibilities;
The role will support the ICS in the development and implementation of the Derbyshire Shared Care Record and offer Information Governance expertise for developing digital initiatives relating to the ICS;
