Description
As a member of the Procurement team, your role involves handling Mechanical and some Electromechanical Purchasing for a manufacturing site located in Redhill.
Furthermore, you play a crucial role in identifying new suppliers to support the company's growth and technological advancements, managing strategic suppliers, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Responsabilities:
- Managing supplier relationships.
- Placing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Implementing cost reduction initiatives, benchmarking, collaborating with various departments on new product introduction (NPI).
- Handling supplierrelated issues and maintaining ISO accreditation by updating process and procedure documents.
Your skills and experience should encompass:
- Proven purchasing expertise in mechanical commodities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in tools such as D365, Microsoft Excel/Word.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualifications (preferred).

£32,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
