Executive Assistant - CoSec/Legal Counsel

City of London

Permanent

£50,000 - £55,000 Benefits + Bonus


An expanding international insurance firm is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel with Legal and Company Secretarial duties as well the core EA duties.

This is the perfect opportunity to join a firm that will encourage your development with the CoSec space


WHAT YOU'LL DO
This is a busy EA role with so much involvement and the chance to develop further, so you'll be the kind of person who enjoys keeping on your toes and using initiative Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with the Legal administration and contracts
  • Managing the Document Management System on SharePoint
  • Booking international travel, managing the Legal Counsels diary and expenses
  • Managing the company records and updating Diligent
  • Assisting with the Board and Committee planning and scheduling
  • Preparing agendas, collating and distributing meeting packs and managing the action logs
  • Involved with ad hoc projects

WHO YOU ARE


To be successful, you will have experience in a similar EA role, be an efficient problem solver and be able to deal with multiple requests at any given time.


Essential requirements:

  • Experience supporting a Legal team or Company Secretary Team
  • Experience working in the corporate sector
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong MS Office skills are essential, and experience using a board pack tool would be advantageous
  • Personable, team player and a passion to learn and develop your skills

THE BENEFITS
This role will pay up to £55k (DOE), in addition to a discretionary bonus
