Description

Shipping Coordinator responsible for activities both within the UK and internationally via Import and Exporting chemicals both hazardous and non hazardous by Air and Sea.

My client is a distributor of Chemicals based in Leeds - working with both large, multinational and local personal care manufacturers.

Description
The ideal Shipping Coordinator who will be reporting into the Shipping Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

Booking stock onto system
Checking & saving certificates of analysis
Raising picking lists for orders & communicating to Warehouse.
Dealing with Freight Forwarders, Hauliers & Couriers to ensure that best possible transport solutions are found
Invoicing & producing documents as required for shipment of goods both locally & internationally. Ensuring all information is accurate & the correct documents are created. To include international shipping documents, Certificate of Origins and ensuringdocuments meet the requirements of Letters of Credit.
Ensuring customers are kept fully up to date with full visibility of the progress of their orders.
Liaising with Colleagues, Warehouses and Freight Forwarders to ensure an accurate & cost effective service is provided to our Customers
Commute to Morley, Leeds
