Carers Plus Yorkshire is a well-established charity of over 27 years, providing information, advice and support to unpaid family Carers and those living in our local communities across multiple districts of North Yorkshire including Scarborough, Whitby, Ryedale, Hambleton and Richmondshire and East Riding of Yorkshire.

You will be joining a team of highly skilled professionals in a fast moving and growing organisation. You will need to be dynamic, adaptable and proactive in your approach.

We are looking to recruit an experienced finance assistant. The successful applicant must have excellent financial and budgeting skills. They will have a relevant qualification or be qualified by experience.

They will support the Finance Lead in the day-to-day financial work of the organisation, including data entry, monitoring and reporting on multiple budget streams, assisting with payroll and VAT returns.

Knowledge and experience of Sage or other accounting software is essential. Accuracy and attention to detail is also a must. A positive approach, a can-do attitude and a sense of humour are all essential.
