  • Bookham, Surrey (parking onsite)
Hours
hours ideally but will consider 21-35 hours)

Full or Part time contract for 3-6 months.**My client, a charity, are looking for an additional member to staff to join their small finance team.

This is initially for a 3-month period with a review to be extended for 6- months, possibly permanent.
You will be required to assist the finance and transformation team with their regular duties, which include:

Duties as a finance assistant include:

  • Bookkeeping entries onto SAGE
  • Receiving and banking of cheques
  • Purchase ledger
- process invoices, coding and sending for authorisation.

  • Sales ledger
- raising invoices, receiving payments and reconciling bank accounts and ledger accounts.

  • Reconciling the bank statements and other ledger accounts, making journal entries to the nominal ledger as required.

Skills required as a finance assistant:

  • If you have previous accounts experience that would be an advantage
  • If you have used Sage that would be an advantage
