Seven Resourcing are looking for 3 temporary Rapid Response Care Assistants to work with Knowsley Borough Council (the office is L26).

These positions are initially for a period of 6 months.

I have more information on these roles below:

The hours:

X2 posts at 30hrs over 5 days Including weekends

- x1 Post at 24hrs over 4 days Including weekends

Pay:
£ Monday to Friday am calls (8-2)
£ Monday to Friday pm calls (4-10)
£ Saturday and Sunday

The role:

To provide a rapid response to service users in times of crisis, injury or illness, to prevent hospital admission or facilitate hospital discharge.

To support service users using an enabling approach to achieve the maximum possible independence for them in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

To assist the service user with their personal care, offer practical assistance and advice within an enabling approach.
To provide intervention and support following Care Line call request
To promote and support the use of Assistive Technology to maximise impendences.
Assist in identifying service user and carer's needs and aspirations and contribute to the development of person centred support plans.
To maintain accurate and appropriate records and complete documentation in accordance with the service policy and procedures, professional standards and satisfy legal requirements including medicines management
Actively participate in supervision and My Time and demonstrate an active commitment to continuous personal development by attending relevant training and development opportunities including team meetings.

Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: NVQ in Health and Social Care (desirable and not essential).

Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.

Compliance: Current DBS and references covering the last 5 years.

Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
