Salary £28,000 - £30,000 pa.


A leading supplier of Scotland's favourite tipple, Whisky, is now in search for a new Assistant Manager to join their team.

As the Assistant Manager of a very exclusive venue, you will have an instinctive eye for excellence; know what needs done without having to be told or even think about it; love your customer and delver first class service through you and your team; Everyonethat comes and goes does so knowing that they have been looked after and have enjoyed the experience you and your team delivered.


Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will help in delivering excellent commercial performance and demonstrate what it takes to be an outstanding host to all who visit.


What we need from you:


  • Management or supervisory experience in a customer facing role. Ideally 2 years minimum.
  • Leader of teams up to 10 staff
  • Able to act on your own initiative and provide swift solutions to any concerns faced.
  • You have worked in a Hospitality field and have a flair for providing the "best customer experience at all times".

Duties will involve:


  • Manage your team and inspire them to always be at their best.
  • Host private events inhouse and externally.
  • Manage daytoday staffing needs and weekly rota.
  • Cascading objectives and targets to your team and gain their buyin

You will also be required to:

  • Create and organise calendar events and promotions for the venue with the help and ideas shared by your team.
  • Ensure your team are properly trained on all new Whisky products, systems, security and standard venue operations.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to improve team member performance.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new employees.
  • Be responsible for invoicing, cash operations and activity reports
  • Carry out inventories in compliance with administrative and financial procedures.
  • Ensure venue is fully covered on all legal requirements through regular checks and annual compliance.
  • Stock management.
  • And importantly, making everyone's experience, customer and colleague, a fun and memorable one.
