Reed Recruitment are working with an organisation with national coverage and a local base in Letchworth.They are recruiting for a Operations Administrator to join them to support all on site functions within the distribution centre with general support.
This is a BRAND NEW role for someone to get their teeth in to and really develop as their ownDuties:
- Managing the attendance system for all employees on site, updating with sickness, holiday and absence data
- Updating the HR system with starters and leavers, ensuring all employee information is correctly uploaded
- Point of contact for on site employee wage queries
- Recruitment admin: coordinating interviews, sending out contracts and onboarding etc
- Produce reports as required relating to the distribution centre, headcount, wage spend etc
- Ordering on site supplies: Stationary, uniform etc
- Support with facilities and scheduling maintenance as required
Skills and experience required:
- Experience working in a role supporting multiple departments ie, HR, Finance and Health and Safety (would be ideal)
- Previous use of payroll or HR systems would be advantageous
- Great communication skills, we are looking for someone who enjoys being a point of contact for employee queries
- Someone who can demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion
