Reed Recruitment are working with an organisation with national coverage and a local base in Letchworth.

They are recruiting for a Operations Administrator to join them to support all on site functions within the distribution centre with general support.

This is a BRAND NEW role for someone to get their teeth in to and really develop as their own


Duties:


  • Managing the attendance system for all employees on site, updating with sickness, holiday and absence data
  • Updating the HR system with starters and leavers, ensuring all employee information is correctly uploaded
  • Point of contact for on site employee wage queries
  • Recruitment admin: coordinating interviews, sending out contracts and onboarding etc
  • Produce reports as required relating to the distribution centre, headcount, wage spend etc
  • Ordering on site supplies: Stationary, uniform etc
  • Support with facilities and scheduling maintenance as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience working in a role supporting multiple departments ie, HR, Finance and Health and Safety (would be ideal)
  • Previous use of payroll or HR systems would be advantageous
  • Great communication skills, we are looking for someone who enjoys being a point of contact for employee queries
  • Someone who can demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and discretion
