Description
We are seeking a Patient Administrator to join our busy but friendly team based at Cirencester Hospital.


The post holder will be a part of the Health Records and Reception team in accordance with Trust based policies and values.

You will be involved with working alongside our Outpatient Department, prepping clinics, booking appointments and operating patient booking systems.

  • Possess the ability to prioritise their own workload within a tight deadline together with their coworkers.

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have good organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate initiative and flexibility together with good attention to detail
  • You must be able to deal with sensitive information and interact with patients to deal with their enquiries.
Prior experience of call handling, management and entering data into a number of systems is beneficial. Knowledge of SystmOne/TrakCare is an advantage but not essential.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions.

Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.

A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential.
