Distance Learning Marker

£10.62-£11.38 per hour
(£12.36-£13.24 including holiday pay)

Location - HEREFORD/REMOTE


This post provides an excellent opportunity for either a qualified teacher, a graduate or a vocationally experienced professional interested in a flexible role supporting students undertaking distance learning courses with our college.


We offer a range wide of distance learning courses to adults, including Awareness of Mental Health problems, Behaviour that Challenges in Children, Caring for the Elderly, Team Leading and Understanding Dementia.

We are looking for someone with the knowledge and skills to mark students' assessment work for the following courses:
Understanding Autism
Understanding Children's Mental Health
Self-harm and Suicide Prevention.
Counselling Skills


Key responsibilities will include the accurate marking of distance learning units, providing support and constructive feedback to students and contribution to quality assurance processes.

The distance learning team work closely together following a common programme of assessment. The department is well resourced, and the team is supportive.
