Job Description - Accounts Assistant Part Time 3 days per week (Flexible)

This role reports to Head of Finance


Duties/Areas of Responsibility

_The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:_
Bookkeeping

  • Processing sales invoices and receipts using Quick Books accounting system
  • Processing purchase invoices and payments
  • Manage credit control and monies due
  • Resolve customer account queries
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations
  • Maintain current RRP pricing in the accounting system
  • Issue quotes to clients when requested
  • Perform financial analysis when requested
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Work with Head of finance to help prepare management accounts
  • Work with Head of Finance to submit monthly collections with Direct Debit provider before deadlines
  • Work with Head of Finance to complete the annual ISO audit
  • Work with Head of Finance to carry out internal audit duties
Office duties

  • Administrative assistance with support contract pricing and renewals when requested
  • Answering phones in a professional manner when needed
  • Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives
  • Work extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable
  • Cleaning of office area at times stipulated by rota
Special Requirements

  • Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the Company Handbook
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by a partner

  • Knowledge and experience of using accounting systems (Quickbooks is preferred but not essential)

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
