We're looking for a Street Lighting Installation Operative to join our Highways Team based in Shrewsbury.

Responsibilities

As a Street Lighting Installation Operative, you'll be working within the Highways Team, supporting them with the installation of street lighting around the Shrewsbury area.

Your day to day will include:

Be responsible for the installation of street lightening columns and wide base posts
The removal of street lightening assets and the excavation for installation of columns and signposts
You will also be responsible for undertaking trenching and service duct laying and to undertake emergency attendance on shift rota.

Who are we looking for?
This role of a Street Lighting Installation Operative is great for you if you have:

Experienced in a similar role and have a thorough understanding of street lighting installation works
Hold a current HERS qualification
Can be flexible in hours of work and travel
