Are you looking for a part time Finance Officer role in a developing charity based a short walk from Manor House underground station?

This mentoring charity aims to address the inequalities in the creative and cultural sectors and now supports more then 1300 individual all across the UK.

This charity had exceptional growth since 2015 and aims to support 3000 people by 2026 and your role as Finance Officer will play a significant role in achieving this target.

In your role as Finance Officer you will work as part of Operations department and will assume responsibility of the day to day financial processes.

Your day to day duties will include;

Processing all incoming invoices
Setting up and completing payment runs
Processing and payment of expense accounts
Manage petty cash, collecting receipts and filing them in accordance to the relevant policies
Banking all incoming cheques or cash
Updating and processing monthly payroll, including updated changes
Assisting the head of Operations and Finance with financial planning and reporting
Assisting with yearend audit and statutory reporting

Your skills include;

Experience in similar role ideally within charity or non profit sector
Working knowledge of relevant accounting systems such Sae Line 50
Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as, debit & credits and double entry bookkeeping
Excellent numeracy skills
