The Best Connection are currently seeking Warehouse operatives for one of our busy clients in Buckshaw Village, Chorley.


Responsibilities of the Warehouse operative

  • Will include the unloading and distributing of a variety of items from and into the warehouse, the items will vary in size so the job can occasionally be labour intensive (up to 25kg)
  • Pick and pack products load/unload goods and the wrapping of the production lines
  • Relevant training may be given if required to work in other areas of the warehouse
  • Working well independently and as part of a team

Requirements of the Warehouse operative

  • Attention to detail
  • Punctuality and good work ethic
  • Good accuracy and organisational skills
  • Ability to work to target
  • Consistency
  • Heavy lifting
  • Cando attitude

Shifts:

Monday to Friday (and Sunday every fortnight)

You must commit to the rotating shift patterns.


Benefits & Requirements:


  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
  • 28 days Paid Annual Leave prorata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
  • Ongoing Assignment
  • Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
