The Company

Over the last few years, this company has transformed into a national brand owned by a large European manufacturer with established markets across more than two dozen countries.

They are looking to strengthen and expand their UK business from their wide arrayof specialised hardware within a dynamic industry that is experiencing rapid development and an ever-increasing demand across a multitude of sectors.

They have an excellent innovative range of products being constantly updated and refreshed by their designand production team which utilises cutting-edge technology in their manufacturing facility.

The Opportunity

The company is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to manage the business of a number of major national accounts.

You will a sharp operator able to deal with ever changing buyers and will be ambitious to push new business development.

Ideally you willbe able to hit the ground running and you will be rewarded with an excellent career in a rapidly expanding business where staff are valued as the individual rather than a mere number.

Track record to be able to demonstrate managing some of the following retailers
Grocers, Wilkinson, B&Q, Toolstation, SFX, Costco, Argos, Jewson, Wickes, Halfords
Demonstrate how growth was achieved

E Commerce experience

Amazon would be beneficial / understanding (but likely to sit outside of his role)
Understanding / ability in manipulating data / P+Ls / spread sheet usage
Understanding of forecasting and ability to communicate well internally
Demonstrated success in securing new business and seeking out new opportunities; examples of having obtained new contracts with major names in retail would be of particular interest.
Relationship builder / good interpersonal skills
Ideally you will have a current knowledge of contacts in some of the abovementioned customers.

Remuneration
Depending on experience; around £45k - £50k
OTE open ended based on performance
Car (Audi A4 Estate or equivalent)
Pension
25 days + 8 bank Holidays
Laptop, Phone and other necessary resources or reimbursements as agreed
