Description

Due to internal staffing changes, opportunity has arisen for 2 full-time B3 Ward Manager Admin posts within the Autism In-Patient admin team based at Mitford Ward, Northgate Hospital, Morpeth.

The post holders should have experience of working in similar environments and must have previous admin experience due to the demands of the role.

Applicants must have valid work permit or right to work in UK.


Key skills required:


  • Admin or secretarial experience working within a team
  • Experience in a customer/patient focused environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of the clinical database RIO system (not essential as training will be given)
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word/Office packages and typing qualification or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to be selfdirected, motivated and be able to contribute positively within a team
  • Well organised and structured
  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility in the role


The post holders will be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with possible exposure to highly distressing or highly emotional circumstances and will be expected to ensure they participate on all relevant training courses appropriate to the role.

The post holders will be supporting allocated Ward Managers with specific duties relating to performance and management reporting. A good knowledge of Microsoft packages and typing qualifications or evidence of relevant experience is essential for the role.
