Job Purpose:

With great attention to detail, you will proactively support our housing and domestic abuse teams with collation and analysis of data, producing statistical reports to evidence the impact of our service delivery.

In conjunction with the Director of Housing, to guide the teams in their data collection, ensuring it meets the needs of individually commissioned services.

You will also lead the organisation in achieving and retaining sector related quality marks, including Trusted Charity standard.

With an understanding of our data obligations under GDPR legislation, you will act as the organisational DPO, advising on regulatory requirements and compliance.

  • MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Take the lead on data collection best practice, working closely with teams to ensure that data requested is necessary and relevant in compliance with GDPR practices.
  • Analyse service provision data and prepare accurate statistical reports for departmental leads and the executive team as required, to evidence performance, enhance tender bids, and report on commissioned services.
  • Lead on maintaining the Trusted Charity Standard accreditation at Level 2, collating and reviewing selfassessment evidence, and coordinating the external assessment process to verify quality.
  • Explore the relevancy and practicalities of new quality mark opportunities.
  • Support department leads to utilise Policies and Processes to ensure best practice and consistency of service is provided across the organisation, in line with current regulatory requirements and legislation.

DPO:

  • Ongoing monitoring and assessment of the organisation's compliance against data protection regulations.
  • Inform and advise relevant parties of data protection obligations.
  • Coordinate and advise on information security breaches.
  • Responsible for coordinating and providing appropriate responses to Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) and 3rd Party Data Requests raised to IMPAKT Housing & Support.
  • Responsible for Data Protection and Information Security related policies and procedures across the Organisation.
  • Designated point of contact for Data Subjects and the Information Commissioner's Office (I.C.O)
  • ADDITIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be flexible to the changing needs of the organisation and its service users.
  • Abide by the organisations staff working policies and procedures.
  • Promote the aims, purposes, mission, and services delivered by the organisation.
  • In addition to the duties set out in this job description the post holder may at times be required to undertake additional or other duties to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain constructive relationships with all staff and volunteers across the Organisation
  • Liaise and cooperate with a variety of external organisations including Partner Agencies, Local Authorities, Law Enforcement Authorities, Quality Standards Bodies and Regulators.
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Experience of embedding, best practice in everyday processes used by an organisation.
  • Experience of Data collection and information security practices.
  • Experience of Quality Assurance assessment.
  • Proven experience of monitoring, evaluation and reporting techniques.
  • Knowledge of Quality Mark accreditation processes.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (eg salesforce) and data management techniques.
  • Familiar with data protection laws and practices, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation. The Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations 200
