An exciting opportunity has arisen for a reliable, highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Outpatient Medical Records Administration team based at Bridgnorth Hospital, providing a friendly and efficient administration service.

Duties will include requesting and collating medical records and results to ensure efficient and effective delivery of outpatient clinics.

To provide a full range of administration duties within Medical Records.

To be able to electronically and manually search for notes in Medical Records.

File patients case notes and x-rays after clinic attendance or discharge.

To check and prepare patient case notes for clinics ensuring all relevant information is available to the Consultant.

To use PDT system to input and track patient records.

To dispatch patient records promptly when requested by other services.

To sort incoming post and medical records daily.

To maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the work.

Ensure that confidentiality of personal data remains secure and the terms of the Data Protection Act are complied with in respect of information held within the computer and manual records.
