Job description


As a Bartender /Tour Guide, your job will involve introducing tourists to our unique visitor centre, taking them on a tour of the distillery and familiarising them with our spirit production.

You will ideally be available to work Friday and/ or Saturday evenings.


Your Duties & Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Tending the bar
  • Advising on beverages
  • Welcome guests in a polite and friend manner
  • Check tickets and any special requirements
  • Communicate a range of information including itineraries
  • Develop a specialist area of knowledge
  • Make sure all arrangements run according to plan.
  • Respond to questions and offer help with any problems that arise
  • Advise about facilities, such as sights, other attractions, restaurants and shops in the area
  • Assist customers with their purchases
  • Write reports and maintain records
  • Attend monthly meetings.

Skills & Experiences
Bartending experience in similar venue such as a gin or cocktail bar is preferential.


Job Type:
Zero hours contract


Salary:
£13.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
