Description

A new position has become available at MMC Waste Services for a Driver/Waste Operative.

Normal working days start from 6:30am until 12:30pm, although this may change depending on workload.

Current shift pattern Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The successful applicant will be required to hold a full clean UK driving licence for a vehicle up to 3.5 tonne, and have held their licence for 2 years or more (for insurance purposes).

The role will involve the following responsibilities:

visiting a number of different businesses to uplift waste & recycling material in and around Glasgow, working to a daily job sheet

- working in the warehouse with tasks such as cardboard bailing, recycling processing and general maintenance activities
- carrying out daily checks to vehicle
- loading/unloading waste
- cleaning & maintenance of workplace

Note this is a physically demanding role and therefore a level of fitness is required.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
£18,000.00 per year
