Description

Mentoring sessions will take place in a designated location in local schools and will be supervised by a teacher or other designated adult for safeguarding purposes.


The purpose of the project is to:

  • assess the impact of ASCENTS on pupils¿ science attainment;
- understand factors that impact successful implementation of ASCENTS; and
- assess whether, and how best, ASCENTS can be delivered more widely.


As project leader, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Liverpool branch of the project.

You will work with the principal investigator at the University of Liverpool to ensure that the project is delivered successfully in Merseyside.


You should have experience with project management, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying problems and providing solutions.

You will have a minimum of 3 GCSE or (equivalent qualifications) at grade C or above including English Language.

This post is available on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2024.
