Description
My client is a long-established business in the consumer finance sector.

This is an exciting time to join in a newly created role acting as number 2 to the Head of PR, and supported by a Junior PR Executive.


Salary:
circa £40,000+ pa + bonus opportunity 10-15% & benefits package


Remote working is available with one day a month key meet at the office

The PR Manager duties include:


  • Media & press relations management, nurturing and building relationships with journalists and press.
  • Work with external research & insights agency driving PR pieces in consumer finance
  • Managing reactive and proactive PR and Media tasks.
  • Identify industry relevant stories for PR opportunities, working quickly to utilize for external communication articles.
  • Writing press releases, senior statements, blogs, and case studies for all channels.
  • Working crossfunctionally with internal teams.

The IdealPR Manager will have:


  • Demonstrable experience in media relations and PR, ideally in finance, not for profit or B2C sector
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills fluent English required
  • Creative thinking and research skills
  • Ideally worked with / managed an external agency
  • Exceptional communications skills working with internal teams, agencies, and Clevel
  • Outstanding writing skills and enjoys writing for all channels
