What is the purpose of the Customer Account Manager role?

Pivotal to the success of the manufacturing division, you will be responsible for executing growth plans for key accounts, targeting substantial year-on-year grow and developing long-term relationships.

As a Customer Account Manager you will play your partin delivering best-in-class solutions to several exciting programs.
What will be the responsibilities of the Customer Account Manager?

  • To deliver the best solution for the customer and company while driving growth
  • Develop forward looking customer objectives.
  • Qualifying new business opportunities.
  • From RFQ receipt, have full oversight and drive functions for efficiency in response time and commercially optimal pricing.
  • Manage pricing activity with customers to ensure best recoveries based on value to the customer and realise close/win on business opportunities.
What skills and experience will the Customer Account Manager have?

  • Excellent experience and knowledge in a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Project Management, Customer Account Management, Procurement or similar
  • Ability to present complex tasks in a simple way.
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiation of high value contracts.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business or similar
  • Experience of working in low volume, high product mix, buildtoprint environments within a technical manufacturing environment
  • Experience in change management or diverse project management
  • End to end RFQ management
