Do you have what it takes to transform society?
We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Bid Administrator to join our Advisory and Planning division.

Our Advisory and Planning teams work in partnership with public and private sectors in pursuit of achieving net zero, by planning and designing sustainable communities and cities of the future.


What does the role involve?


As a Bid Administrator you'll check relevant channels for suitable bid opportunities and liaise with technical teams for decisions on the opportunities.

You'll also arrange tender review meetings, download and collate tender documentation, send contracts to legal for review and coordinate technical questions and responses.

You'll organise Director sign off and ensure bids are submitted on time and keep the bid tracker up to date.


Key Deliverables

  • Liaise with Marketing Team for any marketing materials needed for bids.
  • Record opportunities in the company system, keep them up to date and track them through to bid stage.
  • Compile the bid documentation in accordance with the specification, adding visual concepts to improve the visual aspect of the submission.
  • Key participant in the Bid Support Community, required to contribute effectively and champion the Sweco Brand and visual guidelines.

To be successful in this role you'll:

  • Have previous experience in Bid Administration with good knowledge of the bid process
  • Possess excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Be selfmotivated and able to meet deadlines, prioritise and collate key information
  • Be able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders with the ability to adapt your communication style and influence
  • Good IT skills including MS Teams, Sharepoint, Bid Portals etc.
  • Previous experience in the construction/engineering industry is desirable.
