Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30


Scania GB are looking for a well organised individual with excellent attention to details to join the team at our Worksop depot.

The main purpose of this position is to provide support for the daily operation and services needs of the pre delivery inspection centre, ensure the stock level of parts is available monitored and managed and ensure the quality and timeliness of internal and external invoicing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, close and complete work orders (WIP) and issue invoices. Issue purchase orders to suppliers and check for invoicing. Respond to and resolve any related queries. Liaise with relevant purchasing/accounts payable departments in the Support Centre as required.
  • Ensure the correct information based on work orders from the previous day is updated in the relevant Scania system.
  • Liaise with customers, internal or external, to secure appointments for the planning of the work schedule.
  • Utilise Scania systems, e.g. K-Pay, Autoline, for input to the end to end PDI Centre and work processes. Utilise systems for general reporting.
  • Build effective relationships with other teams and departments across the business to ensure work is coordinated for the customer.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure required services are delivered.
  • Provide information to the workshop/parts to ensure imperfect parts are retained to enable further warranty investigation.
  • Update Scania systems to reflect warranty claim information and follow up and report on claims.
  • Undertake monthly check of stock and update the system.
  • Ensure the stock of parts is managed on site to ensure location and volume are correct and monitored. Handle return of stock and buybacks ensuring correct credits are received.
  • Preorder parts from suppliers based on planned work.
  • Ensure any site related issues are addressed, e.g facilities.
