gap personnel Bristol are acting as an employment business and currently looking for 8 Production Operatives to join our client in Avonmouth.

Working as part of the Production team to help produce a range of delicious products, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and other food to go products.

Our client has year on year growth with the Food Manufacturing industry and supply big names such as NHS, Easy Jet, BA as well as many local schools.

As part of the company's growth, the warehouse is undergoing a complete refurbishment which will ensure you are working in an environment with the most update machinery and equipment, be part of an exciting growth plan and have excellent onsite facilities.

Responsibilities:

Help to make and pack our products, which could include preparing and making our products
Using cutting and mixing equipment
Packing products into boxes
Fetching raw materials for production, ensuring compliance to stock rotation

No matter what task you are doing, there is always a focus on safety, quality and hygiene to ensure our customers receive the best possible products.

This role will involve standing for long periods and working in cold temperatures (8-10 degrees). It may also include will also repeat lifting and carrying ingredients and products.

About you

Previous experience of working within a production line environment
Demonstrate practical skills
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Work under pressure and to deadlines
Work as part of a team and also independently
