Description

The Integrated Discharge Team within Colchester General Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a new Admin Lead to complement our existing team within the Discharge Hub.

This is a fixed term/secondment position to cover Maternity Leave until the end of December 2024


You will be responsible for the day-to-day Management of Administration Services provided to the Transfer of Care Hub (TOCH), monitoring and prioritising activities within the administration teams to meet the demands of the whole range of services within the TOCH.


You will need to demonstrate an interest in the discharge pathway of patients and have a working knowledge of the current discharge process within the acute hospital and community setting.

You will need to be an effective communicator in often challenging situations, have good interpersonal skills and feel confident working
as part of a small team.
