Are you currently a Head of HR looking for the next step to progress your career? Or are you Deputy Director or Director of HR looking for your next challenge?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a membership body that has over 50,000 members. They are looking to recruit an Assistant Director of HR in a permanent full time position.


You will be joining a small but high-profile HR team and lead the strategic and operational support for people matters across the organisation.


The client offers an excellent hybrid working policy which will see you split your time between there office in London and working remotely.

To be considered for the role you will be MCIPD qualified.

The Assistant Director of HR will have knowledge and experience of success in a senior HR position in a small / medium organisation as well having a track record of driving employee engagement andimproving organisational culture.


Salary & Benefits
- £75,000 per annum

  • 27 days annual leave + option buying up to 5 additional days.

Role


To lead the HR function in effective and efficient operational delivery of all core people related functions, ensuring both policies and practice meet the requirements of the business.

Look to lead on the strategic and operational support as well as beinga strategic partner and trusted adviser to the senior management team.


Duties

  • Develop and evolve a strategic people plan in collaboration with colleagues across the identifying key people issues and making recommendations for addressing.
  • Evolve the s employment offer to maintain the position as an employer of choice.
  • Oversee all financial and nonfinancial reward and flexible benefits and ensure these remain.
  • Provide legal and technical advice, support and coaching to Senior Management Team, Heads of Department, line managers on sensitive and complex employment matters,
  • Develop and implement people strategies including appropriate interventions and initiatives to optimise workforce productivity.
  • Report regularly to senior management and Trustees, using insight to make recommendations on optimising people policies and practice.
  • Lead on employment relations matters, ensuring robust processes resulting in clear action for resolution.
  • Lead on consultations and routine business with the union, building a productive relationship to deliver outcomes aligned workforce needs.
  • Provide support for implementation of permanent hybrid working model making recommendations to ensure effective for business and workforce.
  • Lead the Learning and Development strategy.
  • Develop and manage strategies for succession planning, talent management, workforce planning, change management.
  • Devise methods for monitoring staff morale, making recommendations for solutions to address issues identified.
