Contract type:
Part-time, Fixed term (up to 12 months to cover maternity leave)

Hours: 25.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Grade:
Band 2, SCP 3-5

FTE Salary:
£22,737 - £23,500 Per Annum

Actual Salary:
£13, £13,969.00 Per Annum

Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint a General Assistant / Administrative Assistant to support the smooth running of our school office.

We have a passionate and dedicated staff team, who are committed to providing an outstanding education for the children.

Your responsibilities

To provide routine support in the general, administrative, welfare and financial administrative functions of the school.
To promote the ethos of the school when communicating with children, staff, parents, governors and visitors.
To provide a positive image of the school in accordance with the mission statement.
Undertake all reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries and signing visitors in and out of the premises.
Assist with pupil first aid/welfare duties, liaise with parents, staff etc.
Process orders and receipt goods on behalf of the school.
